Warehouse Disposal Project
Cable & Wireless required a flexible disposal solution for a 22,000sqft warehouse full of redundant IT equipment that needed to be emptied; this included CRT monitors, printers and sundry peripherals (keyboards, mice, cables etc).
All of this redundant IT equipment had to be taken away for correct disposal and recycling. To do this, we utilised our full labourer team who worked out of hours to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of this project. All CRT monitors and PC units were palletized on-site to make certain they were stable for travel. We supplied disposal skips for all damaged equipment which were then delivered to our End of Life Recyclers (EOL). All loose hard-drives were placed in a secure container before leaving the site. The clear out of the warehouse was successfully completed by deadline within a 4 week period.
